intelligence is the standard”I am a small kennel located in beautiful Napa, CA, about an hour’s drive from San Francisco in the heart of wine country. I show my dogs in AKC shows and German shows, and I occasionally have puppies to offer to approved homes for a family companion or showing. For 20 years I have raised and bred dogs with excellent temperaments and conformation. Ours is a kennel who believe in raising our puppies in a loving, family home environment.
I concentrate on quality, not quantity when it comes to breeding. I use only the finest Champion, top producing health -cleared bloodlines available.
Traits that are considered important for the Rottweiler are good temperament, intelligence, health and longevity, sound hips, thick bodies, with good bone and a strong head type. My puppies have the temperament and intelligence to make excellent companions, the conformation required to win in the show ring, and the pedigree to produce a new generation of outstanding Rottweilers.
We here at Melodyhill care that our puppies go to loving homes and live long, healthy, happy lives! Homes that have owned this breed before are given preference, but most important is that a prospective owner has really researched the breed or has had a good amount of experience with Rottweilers, and understands what it takes to raise this amazing breed of dog. This is not the type of dog for you if you do not have a lot of time to spare for a companion!
